About us
SABI STRUCTURA is a structural engineering firm from Iași, founded in 2009. We design structures for new buildings, verify designs and carry out technical expert assessments of existing buildings.
We work for property developers, architects, contractors, a national retail chain and building owners. We have projects in 16 locations across Romania, from a residential complex with five basement levels to precast halls with spans of up to 22 m.

How we work
From the first call to the building site, in six steps.
You send us the project details
Through the form, by email or by phone: what you are building, where, how large it is and which documents you already have (urban planning certificate, geotechnical report, architectural design).
You receive our quote
We review the documents and send you a quote with the phases, deadlines and price [within X working days – to be confirmed]. If anything is missing, we tell you exactly what we need.
We agree the structural concept
We choose the structural system with the architect: walls, frames and foundation type. We size the main elements early, so the architecture starts from real dimensions.
We analyse the structure
We model the building in ETABS and check how it behaves under gravity loads, wind, snow and earthquakes. We design the foundations in GEO5, based on the geotechnical report.
We deliver the technical design and construction details
Formwork and reinforcement drawings, calculation notes, a technical report and specifications. For consequence classes CC2–CC4, the design is then checked by an independent attested design verifier.
We support the contractor on site
During construction we answer the contractor’s questions and visit the site at the key stages of the structural work.

We design to the Romanian design codes in force and to the Eurocodes.
Independence
We never verify designs we worked on as designers, and we never carry out a technical expert assessment of designs we prepared or verified.
